Introducing the Joy Experiment - The Blog
Jun 01, 2025
I didn’t start this blog because I have all the answers. I started it because I’ve spent years asking the hard questions—about joy, self-worth, and what it means to truly feel empowered as a woman living in a world that often profits off our doubt.
Here’s what I know: Joy isn’t a destination. It’s a practice. And it’s one we have to choose on purpose.
In this space, we’ll explore the science of positive psychology—not the “good vibes only” version, but the real, research-backed tools that help us build resilience, meaning, and self-compassion. We’ll talk about how to grow self-esteem that isn’t performative or perfectionistic. We’ll talk about the voices in our heads that tell us we’re not enough—and how to quiet them with truth, not just pep talks.
We’ll also talk about empowerment—not as a hashtag, but as a lived experience. One that includes boundaries, bravery, softness, strength, and learning to take up space unapologetically.
My hope is that each post will offer you something practical, something honest, and something that nudges you a little closer to joy—not the fluffy kind, but the fierce, earned kind. The kind that comes from knowing yourself, honoring your story, and showing up anyway.
So here’s to the start of this joy experiment. It’s not about getting it perfect. It’s about getting real, getting curious, and walking this path together.
Let’s begin.
